It was at the mechanic shop getting a new exhaust system put on.

When I say it looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor, I'm not kidding. It was in better condition than the my dad's Silverado.

Here I thought all K-cars had rusted away by now.

(Image from Google. I didn't want to be creepy and take a picture with the owner sitting next to me.)

I also saw a Focus ST, Hatchback STI, clean E30 convertible, and some 60 full-size wagon.

Oh, and the truck passed inspection with flying colors. But they used a lot of gas doing the emissions testing.

I saw a mint condition Sundance the other day too!!!!

Even more ridiculous that it was right here in ontario. I couldn't believe that either.

I pull up and I'm just like, is that a K-car? In that condition?

Walk inside, little old lady talking to the guy at the desk about needing new belts.

Old people: The reason crappy cars from the 70s and 80s are still on the road in better condition than cars 30 years newer.

The one I saw must have been inherited from grandma out west. Girl driving it couldn't have been more than about 20.

I did not know people liked these. I had inherited one from my father after he died. A 1994 in green. I liked the car well enough, but when I was around 13 I started pouring money into it and found that rats had completely killed it and had to junk it.

Had to be inheritance. No young girl would be caught dead in one by choice.

I don't think a lot of people do, they're just such a rare sight nowadays.

My cousin had a Daytona for his first car. It was broken all the time.

AWESOME! I learnt to drive in one of these (it was a 1993 Dodge Shadow not a plymouth) in 2001. My dad had inherited in from my grand father when he pasted away. I actually liked the car.

side note: It was the very first car we owned that had air conditioning.

My mom had a '92 Daytona, some sections had to be re-welded they were done so bad from the factory. And it ate a transmission at 5,000 miles.

I think it went through a couple of transmissions the year and a half he had it.

There's a red coupe in my neighborhood, also in perfect condition.
